Scientists are continuing research on cell and give an ideal theory. Over many tests that have been repeated and the result is same. The collection of many experimental conclusion that describes properties of cells and how a cell works, that’s called Cell Theory.

After the discovery of cell by Robert Hook, in 1839, Theodor Schwann and Schleiden’s conclude same observation. That conclusion is the base of cell theory. Schwann concluded that “The cells of plants and animals are similar structures and elaborated that all organisms are composed of one or more cells and the cell is the structural unit of life.”

In 1855, Rudolf Virchow had made a convincing case for the cell theory. He added that “Cells can arise only by division from a preexisting cell.”

A cell is the basic unit of life or reproduction that is one part and what we know about cells has continuously evolved over time as new technologies have emerged and new information has been collected by scientists. The modern cell theory interpretation that:
The cell is the fundamental, structural and functional unit of all living organisms.
All living cells reproduce from pre-existing cells by division.
All known living things are made up of one or more cells.
Cells contain Heredity information in the form of DNA.
Energy flow occurs within cells.
All cells are basically the same in chemical composition in organisms.
